i have an account now prepaid debit card and was using it just fine. a few weeks ago i tried to update my address and the representative said i failed a security question. i then told the representative i did not need the changes made to my account and continued to use my card. about a week and a half later while attempting to use my card , it was declined . i called account now and they blocked my card while i had funds in my account . they asked me to send proof of valid id and my account now card since they had blocked my card because weeks before i had failed to answer a question correctly while updating my address .
i sent the information as requested only to have them request more . i then sent a copy of my new lease agreement only to have them request more information i sent a copy of my utility bill only for them to request address verification in a state i have NEVER lived in!!!!!!!!!!!! i still do not have access to my account or my card and am considering filing complaints with any and all regulatory divisions for banks and prepaid debit cards. further more i am at the point of calling my local news station and posting my story on social media. i need unblocked and my funds released asap. thank you
