Account now rip off
My very first experience with them and I am greatly greatly disappointment. I had their card for some time now but never used it. On Saturday I put $500 in a green dot card and reloaded my account now card. Needed to pay a speed ticket I got when I was traveling out of state which was due on Sunday. I tried paying and it kept saying the card declined.on Sunday I called them and they said my account has been blocked and I needed to send some document in. I asked them what can I do to pay my ticket they said there is nothing they can do to help me. Normally other bank will unblock your card for emergencies like this and block it again as soon as you are done with it until the problem is solved. That was my whole paycheck and fortunately for me green dot couldn't take more than $500 because I was about to put $700 there and have no cash left. Since green dot could only take $500, I saved the $200 and that is how I paid for my ticket but now I have no gas money no food nothing. They said they ll review my documents and call me within 24hrs I told them if by Wednesday I haven't had my money they will be dealing with my attorney from there. I read more bad than good reviews about them and hope this doesn't happen to me. This company should be shut down. Idk why it still exists after all the rip off it has done to million of individuals..this is pathetic!!!!!
