Prepaid Card - AccountNow Prepaid Debit Card
I was sent a Account Now Debit card and was able to activate the card with easy. No I.D. was required, no proof of address, or proof of SSN. However, I had returned some items to a MAJOR retail chain and due to the time, they didn't have the cash on hand and ask if the could apply the return to a debit card. I thought sure, in fact I have a new card here. BIG mistake. The store refunded me the amount and it showed that I had the money on the card, but account now blocked the card, stating the I committed fraud and needed to prove that I was the intended person that the card was sent to. I submitted the requested info. the info. that should have been required to open the account. After during so, they still refuse to release my money. These people are MAJOR crooks.
