Illegal Buisness Practices - account now prepaid visa debit
I contacted account now because my card would not swip tried a few different atms then went to money centers to try and have them pull the funds but was still unsuccessful. The rep processed a 7 to 10 buisness day card reissue without my approval asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they couldn't cancel this or do anything about it until July 19th. I asked how is it legal for you to process things on my account that I have no approved all I get is we are protecting your account. How are you protecting my account by doing things I don't authorize? I could up until the point of processing I didn't authorize do money grams to still have access to my funds. I have my house to take care or and we live paycheck to paycheck so this is a real in convince behind something I never authorized. The real kicker is while on the phone with the rep today I now have been locked out and they won't provide me access until i take a picture of the card and my id and fax it to them because my account has been locked. Again the rep told me that it was a safety procaution for me your protecting me against myself sounds awesome!
